This week, our spotlight shines on a lady who is often found covered in glitter, and works for the most glamorous and fabulous client that anyone would dream of working for. No, I’m not talking about Dame Judi Dench. I’m talking about Barbie. When Chandra gets home from a long day of designing girlie outfits and cuteness, she likes to relax with a little good quality hour-long drama. Let’s hear what Chandra has to say…
What is your favorite show of all time?
Its hard to choose… I think Heroes comes in as a close second to Lost.
How did you get into Lost?
Andy [Chandra's husband] forced me to watch Season 1 of Lost on DVD. Needless to say it turned into an all-out Lost marathon through Season 4. I’m still waiting for Season 5 to come out so I can watch it before the final season starts!
Who is your favorite character?
Jin and Sun have to be my favorite characters. You can’t just pick 1 of them because they are always together in the series… well most of it. Despite adultery, a crazy father in law, and the Korean melodrama, the two of them learn how much they love each other and can’t live without one another.
What is your favorite episode?
Episode 5 of Season 4 “The Constant.” I don’t want to ruin any surprises for those that haven’t watched Lost so I’ll just say, it’s a mind twister!
Do you have a favorite quote from the series?
Charlie: “Dear Diary, still on this bloody island. Today I swallowed a bug. Love, Claire.”
Aside from watching her favorite television shows, Chandra has been busy assisting with the coordination of Divine Design, an event in Los Angeles benefiting Project Angel Food (http://www.divinedesign.org/). She and her coworker worked on a Holiday “Glamper” which is a one of a kind item that comes with 5 one-of-a-kind dolls (Ken, Barbie, Skipper, Stacie and Kelly) that will go for auction on CharityFolks.com.
